I spent a few years on Guam. No, I was not in the military. I worked there, and discovered a virtual paradise. The images, while fading fast from my memory, are of beautiful cliffs that drop hundreds of feet into a magnificant surf. This painting was from one of those fading images. I realize I missed the boat a little, since the rocks painted here are not like the coral and volcanic formations that make up Guam's beautiful shore line. But, it will offer some idea of what I remember about the island. And for the record, the Guamanian (Chamorro) people are just as beautiful.
The painting is in oils, 20"x24".
